Pavithra Perera WJA is a skilled broadcast journalist with over three years of experience at the BBC World Service London, where she produced and presented international news for the BBC Sinhala Service. She hosted the 'Sandeshaya' radio program, delivering timely and accurate news while also creating engaging multimedia content for radio, web, and social media platforms.

In her role, Pavithra developed picture galleries that complemented news stories, enhancing the overall audience experience.

Pavithra served as a news and current affairs content editor and anchor at the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, where she quickly established herself as one of the youngest journalists in the newsroom at that time.
